WHO WE ARE
Windsor Construction Company was founded on the principle of providing an in-house contractor experience for our clients and understanding the success of our clients to be as important as our own. With over three decades of expertise in multifamily construction, Windsor excels in delivering high-quality service. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our selective approach to client partnerships and robust subcontractor relationships. In addition, military housing is a major part of our company. We have been actively involved at Joint Base Lewis McChord since 2005, with anticipated projects extending well into the 2030s.
OUR HISTORY
Glenn Gronnerud and Ken Sinner, the founding principles of Windsor Construction Company, worked side by side at Lincoln Property Company in Bellevue, Washington, running the construction arm of the Texas-based multifamily development company. Then in the 1991 downturn, with no projects on the books and nothing on the immediate horizon, Lincoln decided to eliminate their Bellevue-based construction division. With few employment options available, Glenn and Ken saw an opportunity to go out on their own and decided to start Windsor Construction Company.
What began as two unemployed coworkers starting their own business has now turned into a generational company. Glenn retired in 2018, but his daughter Lynn runs the office and Ken’s son Nate is now a Senior Project Manager.
