WHO WE ARE
Windsor Construction Company was founded on the principle of providing an in-house contractor experience for our clients and understanding the success of our clients to be as important as our own. With over three decades of expertise in multifamily construction, Windsor excels in delivering high-quality service. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our selective approach to client partnerships and robust subcontractor relationships. In addition, military housing is a major part of our company. We have been actively involved at Joint Base Lewis McChord since 2005, with anticipated projects extending well into the 2030s.
OUR HISTORY
Est. 1992
Glenn Gronnerud and Ken Sinner, founding principals of Windsor Construction Company, worked side by side at Lincoln Property Company in Bellevue, Washington, where they led the construction division for the Texas-based multifamily development firm.
During the economic downturn of 1991, with no active projects and none on the immediate horizon, Lincoln made the decision to close its Bellevue-based construction operations. Faced with limited employment opportunities, Glenn and Ken recognized a unique opportunity. Rather than wait for the market to turn, they chose to take a leap of faith and establish Windsor Construction Company.

What began as two colleagues navigating uncertain times has grown into a multigenerational company. Glenn retired in 2018, but his daughter, Lynn, now manages the office, and Ken’s son, Nate, serves as a Partner/Senior Project Manager continuing the legacy they built from the ground up.
